Our story

Hello everyone,

We are Angelo and Solène and we're here to share our story with you.

​

It's a story that started in Surfer Paradise, Australia, in September 2015.

We bonded over our shared love of travel and adventure, and we quickly became inseparable. We spent the next few years traveling the world together, living in Italy and Chile, and exploring different cultures and cuisines.

​

In the following years, we traveled together, exploring Europe and spending over a year in Italy where Angelo was born. We lived in his hometown of Milan but also traveled throughout the country, from north to south, discovering new culinary specialties, foods, and customs each time.

After Italy, we decided to relocate to Chile where Solène was born. There, we worked managing her father's sports club, which allowed us to put ourselves to the test for the first time on how to run a business and all that it entails.

Our love for Italian cuisine grew stronger as we traveled and experienced the diverse flavors and aromas of different regions. We knew we wanted to share our passion with others, and that's when the idea of opening our own food truck came to life.

We always had a dream of starting a business together.

We decided to take the leap and open our own Italian food truck in California featuring Angelo's Italian cuisine.

We decided to bring the authentic taste of Italy to the beaches of California, where locals and visitors alike can enjoy our homemade pasta, ravioli, gnocchi and other Italian specialties.

Our journey has been full of adventure and discovery, and we are excited to continue sharing our love for Italian cuisine with all of you.

We wanted to combine our passions for food, travel, and culture into something that we could share with others.

 

We were determined to make our dream a reality.

Of course, we faced many challenges along the way, especially with the COVID-19 pandemic disrupting businesses everywhere.

​

Another hurdle we faced was obtaining the necessary permits to operate our food truck. We had to go through a rigorous process, which involved obtaining licenses and permits from local and state authorities. But we persevered, adapting to changing regulations and safety protocols, we persevered through the challenges, and with our determination and hard work, we were able to successfully launch our food truck and bring the taste of Italy to Los Angeles.

We believe that every challenge we faced only made us stronger, and we are proud of how far we have come. We are grateful for the support of our loyal customers and the local community, who have embraced our food truck and helped us grow.
